A Electronics Technician is an essential member of our team and we invite you to apply and help contribute to CNLV’S growing success!
This posting will create a non-probationary internal Teamster eligibility list and fill one (1) vacancy for this classification. The current vacancy is in the Utilities department. The eligibility list will be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification, for up to one hundred eighty (180) days. Non-probationary Teamster team members successfully completing the selection process will be placed on the eligibility list.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

Pay Considerations – The hourly pay range for this position is $32.85-$49.28. Starting salary is dependent on education, qualifications, and experience. Existing employees will receive increases as outlined by their bargaining agreement.
Work Schedule – This position is scheduled to work 4 days per week, 9 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 3:30pm.
Environment – While performing the essential functions of this job, the incumbent is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; non-weather related hot and cold temperatures; conditions such as fumes, noxious odors, dust, mists, gases and poor ventilation that affect the respiratory system, eyes or the skin; bodily injury from explosions, radiation, falling from high, exposed places and moving mechanical parts of equipment, tools or machinery. Regular and timely attendance is required.
THE ROLE
Performs skilled complex tasks involving installing, repairing and maintaining electrical and electronic equipment and software used in wastewater and freshwater processing operations. Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains pumping station equipment; assesses pumping station operations and recommends improvements.

Note: Subsequent vacancies during the life of the internal eligibility list may require participation in an additional selection interview. The selection interview will be weighted 100%, requiring a passing score of 70% in order to be considered for the subsequent position vacancy.
