The City of Naperville’s Department of Public Works is looking for Full-Time Temporary help to provide support to city staff in performing semi-skilled, manual labor. Most of the work is performed outdoors.
DATES: Starting May 2024 – lasting up to 6 months
HOURS: 40 hours per week/Monday – Friday, some weekends
6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., some overtime
Perform basic equipment operator tasks such as driving city vehicles, chipping brush, raking, quick response team functions, mailbox damage, sod restoration, light trimming, cleaning out storm inlets and other miscellaneous duties. Temporary workers should expect to be working outside most of the day in all kinds of weather.
