Salary: $45,243.11/annual minimum - $56,553.88/annual midpoint (Depending on qualifications) 

Under the direction of the Manager of Recreation Services, to lead, oversee and participate in the work of staff responsible for providing recreation services within the Recreation Division; and to perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.

2. Adheres to assigned work schedule as outlined in city and department attendance policies and procedures. This position primarily works during recreation center hours of operation including nights and weekends.
3. Lead, prioritize, train and review the work of staff responsible for providing recreation services within the Parks and Recreation Department.
4. Assist in the selection of recreation staff; provide staff training; work with employees to correct deficiencies.
5. Prepare various reports on operations and activities. 
6. Recommend and assist in the implementation of goals and objectives; assist with the schedules and methods for providing recreation services; assist with the implementation of policies and procedures. 
7. Assist in the preparation of the recreation center operating budget; submit budget recommendations.
8. Administer a maintenance program at assigned facilities; report building deficiencies and maintenance needs; keep fixtures and equipment in proper operating conditions.
9. Coordinate and supervise the youth after school program.
10. Coordinate and supervise the summer day camp program.
11. Balance daily cash receipts, print financial reports and prepare deposits.

EDUCATION 
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in recreation administration, park and recreation management, physical education, or other related field. 
EXPERIENCE
Minimum two years of increasingly responsible recreation leadership experience. 

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES
Possession of a valid driver’s license.
