This is a seasonal summer position from May 20 – July 26, 2024. The hours of work will be between 7:00am – 6:00pm, Monday – Friday. *For the week of May 20 – 24, the hours of work will be between 10:00am – 8:00pm. Employees may work up to 40 hours per week during weeks of camp. Under general supervision, this position assists recreation staff in directing recreational activities for youth ages 6 through 12 in a summer camp program. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure a fun and safe environment for camp program participants.
• Leading participants in a variety of recreational activities.
• Chaperoning field trips and other organized activities and games.
• Assisting in supervising the activities of children participating in summer camp program.
• Assisting with cleaning and maintaining recreation facilities and equipment, as necessary.
• Assisting with serving snacks daily.
• Perform First Aid and complete incident reports as needed.
• Performing associated duties as required.
