City of Manassas is Hiring a Recreation Attendant Near Manassas, VA
Follows recreation coordinator plans to assist with recreation and athletic programs and events. Monitors the use of equipment and facilities, monitors programs and events to ensure compliance with applicable safety policies and practices.
Maintains and prepares equipment and facilities for ongoing programs, athletics, and events; performs reception duties and maintains related records.
Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals such as the Parks, Culture & Recreation Staff, patrons, program participants, contracted staff, sport officials, Safety Officer, and the public.
Performs related duties as assigned.
A combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities in customer service environments and/or recreation programs. Must be at least 15 years old by the time of hire.Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a group; must exhibit strong communication skills, the ability to follow instructions and have a flexible schedule.
