The Utilities Superintendent for the City of Lynn Haven assists the Assistant Director and Director by planning, coordinating, and directing the construction, maintenance, and repair of municipal water distribution and wastewater transmission systems. This supervisory position oversees staff assigned to the maintenance and repair of the underground water and wastewater distribution systems (i.e., pipelines), the maintenance and repair of the City's lift stations, and the monitoring, maintenance, and repair of the meter systems. The Utility Superintendent also works closely with the other City Superintendents and staff and outside contractors/vendors. Also, the Utility Superintendent is expected to respond to citizen requests and issues related to their public utilities concerns in a thoughtful manner, bringing possible solutions forward for final discussion and resolution.
