Description:
Under general supervision, performs office/clerical tasks such as ticket sales, filing, typing, and assisting with special projects for the Logan Aquatic Center.
Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, performs office/clerical tasks such as ticket sales, filing, typing, and assisting with special projects for the Logan Aquatic Center. Continuous contact with the public, requiring tact, patience & customer service skills. Operates various types of office equipment, i.e., copy machine, computer terminal, and cash register. Participates in all staff training and programs. Performs routine cleaning tasks and performs other duties as assigned or directed. Proper money handling skills required, including but not limited to- collecting, counting, and giving back proper change.
APPLICANTS: This position will establish a hiring roster that will be used to fill seasonal vacancies from May-September 2024. Applicants, please note when you are available for employment.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years of age or older. Requires the ability to effectively meet and deal with the public, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, ability to handle stressful situations. Must be able to work with currency, i.e. counting, tallying, and configuring change. Applicants must be a self-starter and work well with others. Concentrated mental application required. Applicants must be able to work hours determined by a weekly work schedule; which includes morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Light physical effort. Few, if any, health hazards.
