Dispatch Operator
Duties:
- Answer incoming calls and inquiries using phone systems
- Transcribe and relay messages accurately and promptly
- Dispatch appropriate personnel or resources to designated locations
- Monitor and track the progress of dispatched personnel or resources
- Maintain accurate records of all communication and activities
- Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and empathy
- Utilize conflict management skills to resolve conflicts or disputes
- Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain dispatch logs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in dispatch operations is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in using phone systems and other relevant technology
- Ability to negotiate and make decisions under pressure
- Attention to detail and accuracy in transcribing messages
- Problem-solving skills to address unexpected situations or emergencies
