Job Description:

City of Lima, Ohio, is searching for a full-time Assistant City Prosecutor for the Lima Municipal Court. No outside practice of law permitted

Compensation:
Salary range of
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year, depending on experience
Excellent benefits

Work Hours:
Full-Time
Monday-Friday
8 AM – 5 PM

Typical prosecution duties include:
Negotiating cases and plea agreements
Conducting bench and jury trials
Preparing and presenting motions, pleadings, and arguments in court and for appeals
Interviewing witnesses, Police Officers, victims, and others

Position Requirements:
Criminal Trial experience preferred but not necessary
Will consider newly admitted attorneys
Functional knowledge of Lexis and Microsoft Office programs required
Valid license to practice law in the state of Ohio
