City of Lee's Summit is Hiring a Grants Manager Near Summit, MO
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business, or a related area (master’s degree preferred)
- A minimum of two years’ experience in grant management.
- Must be available for committee, council, or other grant related meetings held outside normal business hours
- Strong knowledge of federal and non-federal regulations, Uniform Guidance, and sub-award monitoring
- Ability to study and understand programs and funding requirements of the organization
- Strong research skills and knowledge of information sources
- Multitasking, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential matters with utmost integrity
- Ability to guide, train, direct and motivate employees
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments and with grantors and the public as needed.
