JOB DESCRIPTION: Under very little supervision, performs essential custodial tasks involving housekeeping and grounds keeping. Also performs event set-ups, advanced floor care, light building maintenance and does related work as required.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.Routine housekeeping tasks including (but not limited to) sweeps, scrubs and mops floors; strips, waxes, buffs and seals floors, vacuums and shampoos rugs, washes, dusts and polishes furniture, woodwork and shelves; empties and cleans waste receptacles; cleans walls, fountains, windows, and restrooms; replenishes supplies; turns out lights and locks doors and windows; reports necessary repairs; cleans and maintains equipment and material used in week Groundskeeping Performs event set-ups and may perform variety of building maintenance tasks including moving furniture and equipment, replacing lights and air filters, assembling shelving, performing minor repairs and other similar duties Keeps Inventory and Requisitions materials required for the job Perform related duties as assigned.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
KSA'S AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of: the methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial and minor building maintenance Skill in: Must have ladder skills Ability to: Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs Follow oral and written directionComplete required duties in a regular schedule Maintain good working relationships with others OTHER REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
