City of Lakeland, Civil Service is Hiring a Cart Attendant Near Lakeland, FL
- Provides carts for golfers.
- Maintains and repairs damages on the carts.
- Keeps work area clean.
- Wash cars daily and charge carts.
- Performs related work as required
- Must have completed up to the eighth (8) grade.
- May be required to work overtime, or alternate hours, as necessary for the efficient operation of the department.
- Position may be designated as Mission Critical by Department Director
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Ability to operate a cart.
- Light work that involves walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or standing most of the time and involves lifting or moving objects between 10 - 25 pounds on a recurring basis.
- The job requires normal visual acuity, field of vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, sense of taste, sense of smell, depth perception, and texture perception.
