RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for administering all swim team operations of daily workouts, team communication, and supervision of assistant coaches.
• Attends all swim team functions, including but not limited to practices, meets, and coach/parent meetings.
• Responsible for the management of swim meets, enforcing rules, and maintaining safety and enjoyment for all participants.
• Design, write, and facilitate workouts and complete swim meet name entries.
• Actively and positively promotes the sport of swimming.
• Communicates frequently with participants, parents, and team representatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to swim and have basic swim coach experience.
• Must have basic knowledge of the four basic strokes of competitive swimming.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Good organizational skills a plus.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Work is primarily done in an outdoor pool setting. Primarily scheduled in the mornings, with some evenings during the week. Expected to work 5 days per week with varying work schedule.
