Apply today! About our Department: The City Clerk’s office is responsible for records maintenance on rules, ordinances, policy resolutions, agendas and minutes for City Council and other meetings. This includes directing the origination, maintenance, retrieval, archiving, release, distribution, safety, and overall management of documentation. Municipal Agenda Coordinator Position Overview: Work involves providing administrative support, agenda support and system maintenance for the City Clerk and Municipal departments. The incumbent works independently using discretion and diplomacy to accomplish objectives in accordance with established policies and procedures overseeing the preparation, the process, and maintenance of the City Council Agenda. Receives and reviews all paperwork associated with city council meetings. Qualifications and Necessary Special Requirements: High school diploma from a school accredited by a regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or GED certificate issued by the appropriate state agency. One (1) year experience with agenda system and resolutions or ordinances and municipal agency experience preferred.
