About our Department:
The goal of the Parking department is to provide adequate parking service by increasing the supply of available parking spaces, enforcement of parking ordinances and maintenance of parking facilities (garages).
Parking Attendant Position Overview:
This is a labor position in the Parking Division of Parking and Transit. Work involves preparing the city garages/lots for parking cars during events. Provides assistance to customers to include answering questions and providing general information to include directions, explaining charges, and other related information; refers non-routine customer-related problems to their supervisor.
Qualifications and Necessary Special Requirements:
High school diploma from a school accredited by a regional accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education or GED certificate issued by the appropriate state agency and some experience as a cashier; or any combination of education, training, and experience.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
