SUMMARY

Work as part of a team to develop and present dynamic, high quality, and engaging Summer Fun programs, in a variety of settings, for students in grades 2-6 related to natural and cultural history, as well as environmental education.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous teaching experience, formal or informal, within the mid to upper elementary levels, required. An associate or bachelor’s degree in education-related field preferred. Knowledge of classroom management and engagement method preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

• As part of a team: coordinate, write lesson plans, and teach Summer Fun classes.
• Develop and/or assist with curriculum development and education programs for Summer Fun.
• Perform related duties as required or may be assigned.

30 - 40 hours per week; May 15th - July 31, 2024
