City of Greenville, TX is Hiring a CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER Near Greenville, TX

Applications are now being accepted for the position of:

CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

Under general supervision, performs specialized skilled work within the City for the Community Development Department. Work involves enforcing property maintenance codes and City ordinances by performing inspections on all properties within the City limits to ensure compliance in the interests of health and safety. Reports to the Code Enforcement Manager/Chief Building Official.


Requirements
: Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent with three to five years experience in enforcing laws or dealing with the court system; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must have Code Enforcement Certification. Must have a valid State driver’s license.

Pay Rate: DOQ

Hours: Full Time Position. 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8-5
