The Crew Supervisor (Water Maintenance) position will will supervise three (3) or more crew members on a Construction truck. This crew truck will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of water and sewer mains, services, valves, and hydrants. The Crew Supervisor is responsible for determining resources needed for each job, coordinating with the C&M Equipment supervisor to secure equipment needed for each specific job and checking the job site to insure that all jobs are set up safely with road signs, safety tubes/trench boxes and excavation areas in compliance with OSHA confined space and trench safety requirements and knowledge of Utility Markings. The Crew supervisor must be able to read and understand plans and strip maps and will be responsible for all paperwork associated with work orders and employee performance, including time sheets. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, including effective public relation skills and have good attendance. This job is Non-Exempt and is subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
