The Maintenance Worker (Electric) performs semi-skilled work related to the construction and maintenance of the electric system. Requires job-acquired skills and the use of motorized equipment. Work is normally performed under the supervision of the Distribution Manager. Employees will frequently be assigned special jobs where they will work independently. Work is subject to inspection by supervisors in progress or on completion for quality and quantity. Employee does not have supervisory responsibility for subordinate personnel. High school diploma or GED. Minimum one (1) year experience in semi-skilled maintenance or construction, and/or operation of equipment or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, ability and skills. Requires the possession of a valid Kansas (Class A) Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain one within six (6) months of hire date; and a good driving record. Hours M-F; 6:30 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.
