City of Gallup, NM is Hiring an ARTS & CRAFTS INSTRUCTOR P/T (Open Positions: 1) Near Gallup, NM

Conducts a variety of arts and crafts activities as directed by the Parks & Recreation Executive Director for the City’s recreation programs, such as: pottery making, cake decorating, leather crafts or beading. Under the direct supervision of the Parks & Recreation Executive Director, incumbent conducts a variety of arts and craft activities for the City’s recreation programs involving all age groups. Assists in the supervision and direction of the recreation centers; maintains discipline of all participants in the recreation programs. Plans new activities and assists with seasonal and holiday programs. Participates in recreational/A&C projects, including athletic meets, hobby shows and other special events. Prepares reports of program activity and maintains records of all material and equipment issued. Maintains inventory logs for supplies and equipment. Responsible for the maintenance and security of program equipment and supplies. Performs a variety of janitorial duties as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
