This a field and office work of average difficulty in assisting the Dock Master and Marina Manager with daily operations of the City's docks and other marine facilities. Responsible for assignment of dock space, assisting in docking boats, fueling, collecting fees, record keeping, sales of boat merchandise, inspecting, reporting general condition, performing general maintenance and cleaning of marina facilities and equipment. Responsible for enforcing marina rules and regulations. Employee must exercise reasonable independent judgment and initiative in carrying out daily work assignments within established policies and procedures. Must show excellent customer communication skills. In their absence, employee assumes all responsibilities of the Dockmaster position.
