CITY OF FOLEY EMPLOYMENT NOTICE

TEMPORARY PART-TIME LABORER

We are accepting applications for the position of Temporary Part-time Laborer in the Parks and Recreation Department.

Examples of Work:

• Maintain public areas, mowing grass, weed eating, edging, blowing, trimming trees
• Removes debris, trash, and empties trash receptacles in parks
• Assists with cleaning restrooms
• Assists with event set-ups and break-downs

Starting salary is $14.00 an hour. A valid Driver’s License is required. Must pass a background check and motor vehicle check as well as a drug screen/physical.

Education and or Experience:

• Requires a High School Diploma or its equivalent.

Physical Demands:The work is medium which requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
