Under the direction of the City Clerk and/or designee, the Principal Clerk is responsible to perform a variety of duties of a moderately complex nature related to the operations of the City Clerk’s office, as well as to provide exemplary customer service to constituents. Responsibilities include assistance in the preparation of meeting agendas, issuance and maintenance of vital records and licenses. The incumbent is required to cross train in the duties and responsibilities of other city clerk department clerical roles in order to enhance productivity and promote teamwork and collaboration.
