LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER: NOW HIRING FULL-TIME POSITION
Location- City of Farrell, Mercer County, Pennsylvania
The City of Farrell is accepting applications for 1 Full-time Law Enforcement Officer. The City is a culturally diverse urban area with a population of around 4,200. The starting salary for a full-time Police Officer is $51,560.
For this Job announcement, the City offers one lateral transfer position for up to two years of prior experience. The starting pay for a 2-year lateral transfer is $60,560. The Top Patrol Rate is $66,585.

Salary Range: $51,560 to $66,585 (Plus Shift Differential & Holiday Pay)
Qualifications:
(a) Pennsylvania Act 120 Certification
(b) U.S. or naturalized citizenship
(c) graduation from high school or acceptable equivalent education
(d) physically, medically, and psychologically fit for the performance of police duties
(e) good moral character
(f) licensed motor vehicle operator
(g) minimum age 21
Qualified candidates will be expected to pass the following successfully: written examination, oral board examination, background investigation, medical evaluation, drug screening, physical agility assessment, and psychological examination.
