JOB
Under the supervision of the Snack Bar Crew Leader, the Snack Bar Attendant provides customer service to include taking and preparing orders for guests, responding to requests, and collecting monies to ensure patrons receive timely and accurate orders. The employee performs cleaning and sanitation duties of the Snack Bar and Grille facilities. The employee also performs inventory duties to assist with the safe and optimal storage of all items. This job is considered safety-sensitive and is subject to a pre-employment background check and random drugs screens.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Customer Service. Performs an array of customer service duties for efficient and timely services to ensure a courteous and pleasant experience and adhere to established protocol and guidelines. Responds to customer requests and inquiries.Assists, directs, and explains rules and policies to customers, members, guests, and patrons.Performs cashier duties to include taking and placing orders; runs register.Collects and counts all monies received for orders placed.Receives customer complaints and offers assistance for resolution. ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Grille Operations. Stores, handles, and prepares food, assists with inventory, and cleans the facility according to health and safety protocol and in adherence to all established City guidelines, protocols, and procedures. Prepares food safely, according to customers’ requests, and in adherence to established guidelines and protocol.Serves and presents food according to City policies and procedures, guidelines, and protocols.Assists with inventory counts of food, beverages, beer, and liquor received. Assists with proper storage of food, beverages, beer, and liquor through requisitions.Rotates food to maximize storage and shelf life.Cleans and sanitizes Snack Bar and Grille daily at the end of each shift to ensure cleanliness and proper breakdown.Receives all shipment orders and assists with verifying against invoices to ensure accuracy and consistency.Prepares food according to guidelines and customer requests.Assembles customers’ orders; verify accuracy.Meets and adheres to all safety and health regulations and guidelines.Checks, maintains, and replenishes inventory.Checks all guests’ identifications (IDs) to verify the minimum age of twenty-one (21) for alcohol consumption. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Works special events, tournaments, etc. to assist and support the Department.Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.
