JOB
Position requires organizing or supervising children (Ages 3-5) in a summer day camp which may include arts and crafts, music and dance, sports and games, special events, performers, and more. Cleaning and sanitizing duties will be required as well. Must be present for 6 weeks of camp, 30 hours a week.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to engage and entertain preschool-aged children. Foster a safe and inclusive environment for campers, emphasizing teamwork and cooperation. Assist in the set-up and cleanup of daily activities and maintain a clean and organized camp space. Actively participate in all camp events, including special visits from the firefighters, police, etc. Collaborate with fellow camp counselors and staff to ensure a positive camp experience. Provide regular updates to parents on camp activities and their child's participation. The duties listed above are intended only as an illustration of the various types of work that may be performed.
