Job duties: Under the supervision of the Presiding Judge and Municipal Court Supervisor performs all duties expected of a deputy court clerk. Keep custody of and secure all warrants and capias. May be required to be present in Municipal Court when in session to assist Municipal Court Judge and Court Clerk, as necessary. Maintains close liaison with Municipal Court Clerk(s) to ensure proper disposition on payments received. Position involves cash handling, bond posting, data entry, customer payments and process official court records. Responsible for performing routine and complex clerical working. Has contact with the public, therefore, the exercise of tact and courtesy is required. A Deputy Clerk is a position of trust and is sometimes required to review, file, and retrieve sensitive documents. Has access to non-public information and must be discreet and professional in dealing with such information.
