Dispensing of all medications.
Making all medical appointments for inmates.
Ordering all medication and supplies needed to operate the medical department efficiently.
Care of minor injuries/sickness of inmates following protocols set by the jail doctor.
Obtaining blood/specimens for medical testing as specified by the jail doctor.
Obtaining medical/mental health records for continuity of care.
Assisting the jail doctor on weekly sick call.
Evaluating inmates for complaints of sickness/injuries/mental health issues.
Maintaining accurate co-pay sheets to be submitted to the account's secretary for deduction from inmate account.
Completing medical transfers information on all inmates being transferred.
