City of Creedmoor is Hiring a Police Officer Near Creedmoor, NC

DESCRIPTION: The City of Creedmoor is currently seeking a Police Officer to join our department.. The Creedmoor Police Department consists of 18 full-time sworn law enforcement positions, 4 full-time telecommunicators, and 4 part-time officers.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates must meet requirements including a current NC BLET Certification, and a valid NC driver’s license with a clean driving record. Selected candidates may be required to participate in an assessment board. Final candidate(s) will be required to submit to a comprehensive background investigation, medical and drug screening and a psychological consult.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE: The starting salary for this position is expected to be in the range of $47,524 - $57,708 and will be based on qualifications and experience. The City offers an excellent benefits package including 100% paid medical/dental/vision/life insurance, membership in the NC Local Government Employees Retirement System, 6% 401(k) contribution with no match required, identity theft protection coverage; optional flexible spending account, life, disability, and other insurances; tuition reimbursement; 12 paid holidays; and 12 paid vacation/sick leave days annually. The department has take home vehicles for officers who live within 30 miles of Creedmoor.
