Performs technical work in the operation of a water treatment facility. Works with other operators to ensure the plant operations meet all state and federal regulations.

Experience Required: Experience in water treatment, water treatment plant operations, and water/sewer line construction and repair including operation water pump stations and wastewater lift stations. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum Education Requirements: Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent.

Direct Supervisor: Plant Supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibility: As needed.
Primary Work Location: While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Employee may be exposed to Bloodborne Pathogens. Hepatitis B Vaccination is available.
