Library Associate (14-16 hrs/wk)

Do you want to work where you can help enrich the lives of the people in your community? The Charleston Carnegie Public Library is excited to announce an open position! We are looking for a new team member to join us as we aspire to be the center of the Charleston community by connecting people through information, technology, education, and experiences.

We are seeking a self-motivated, tech-savvy, and team-oriented individual who would enjoy working in a customer-service and community-centered environment. This position will report to the Library Management Team and will support and staff the circulation, kids, and reference desks as needed.

This part-time position (14-16 hrs/wk, includes mornings, evenings, and every other weekend) requires previous technology and customer service experience. Previous public library experience and/or experience working with youth a plus. Salary starts at $14.00/hour.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 16 per week
