Position Details

This position is responsible for providing customer service for golf patrons and / or the maintenance of the golf course itself.

Responsibilities include accountability for the service and safety of Birnamwood patrons, care of the clubhouse, maintenance shop, and work on the golf course grounds.

The Birnamwood Golf Course is a nine-hole, par 27 public golf course that is owned and operated by the City of Burnsville.

This role is non-exempt (hourly) and has a starting wage of $14.61 / hr.

• Operate mowers, weed whips and other power equipment needed to maintain the turf.

What you'll bring to help you be successful

• Must be 18 years of age or older by first day of work.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License or be eligible to be licensed in the State of Minnesota.
• A background or interest in local government work serving the community.
• An interest in developing what you do best and a commitment to valuing each colleague for their unique perspectives.
