Job Duties:
This position is responsible for performing custodial duties as directed, which may includ dusting, picking up trash and clutter, mopping, finishing and buffing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, cleaning and restocking restrooms, setting up and taking down chairs/tables/equipment for meetings and events, cleaning and sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
This position works primarily evenings and weekends, with some flexibility and opportunity to pick up additional shifts. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. • Ability to understand and follow verbal and to read, understand and follow written instructions and safety procedures. • Ability to use appropriate equipment used in cleaning, including power equipment such as vacuums, power floor cleaning equipment, etc. • Ability to safely use cleaning supplies. • Ability to safely lift, move, and manipulate objects. Working conditions Physical work is at least 80% of the job. May be required to operate a motor vehicle.
Special Requirements
Ability to frequently lift/move objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
