The City of Beloit has an employment opportunity in the Operations Division of the Department of Public Works and is currently accepting applications for the position of an Equipment Operator- Streets.This position is responsible for performing semi-skilled manual labor either as an individual or in a team related to the street maintenance and repair programs of city streets and Right of Way (ROW). Work involves heavy manual labor. Duties include, but are not limited to, street maintenance and repair work, operating snow removal equipment, grounds maintenance, and light maintenance and repair work. This position typically works Monday through Thursday from 6:30a.m. to 3:30p.m. and Fridays from 6:30a.m. to 10:30a.m. Schedule is subject to change based on business needs.
