Our department strives to protect and serve our community, working with community members to address problems. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

• Arrest persons with and without warrants and assist in prosecutions as required* Investigate complaints assigned and take appropriate actions, as well as conducting any follow up investigations necessary* Issue appropriate warnings, citations, and summons to violators as guided by departmental policy* Subdue resisting/violent persons* Handcuff and transport suspect or prisoners* Mediate civil disputes* Participate in formal training programs* Perform other tasks as needed
