Assists passengers getting on and off the bus and van.
Operate a handicap lift.
Maintain routine records related to bus and van operation and servicing.
Assure proper operation of safety equipment and report malfunctions.

Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job qualifies.
High School diploma or GED equivalency.
Two years’ experience in driving buses or vans in transporting passengers and/or custodial or facilities maintenance and repair work.
Possession of or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications.
Must be willing to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays assigned.
Possession of a valid Georgia State driver’s license with CDL endorsement.
Physical Demands
Physical: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk; and hear. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl. The employee is required to sit for an extended period of time while driving. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally life and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction; vision sufficient to read printed documents and to operate equipment.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
