EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Monitors and reconciles petty cash and inventories, and grant documentsLocal, state, and federal Grant reportingReviews and analyzes bad debtsChecks internal control systemsPerforms unannounced audits of petty cash, vending machines, and inventories etc. Reviews and reconciles, prepares and keys journal entriesPerforms bank statement reconciliationsImplements and monitors innovative programs throughout the City to reduce Costs, increase productivity and enhance performanceDevelops, designs, and conducts evaluations and other special studiesPerforms benchmarking analysis to identify and implement best practicesProcess payroll on bi-weekly scheduleCreate files and submit escheat property annually to State of South CarolinaOther accounting duties as required
