Assists physicians or licensed healthcare practitioners in ensuring a smooth patient care experience and outstanding service to patients. services, including, but not limited to.
- Preparing the rooms
- Pulling and maintaining charts
- Verifying documents
- Ensuring timely service
- Greeting patients
- Obtaining and documenting patient information
- Accompanying and/or assisting the providers with procedures
- Communicating with patients, providers and other staff members
- Updating the electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Performing cleaning, sterilizing, organizing and inventory tasks
