City of Hope Phoenix (Goodyear, Arizona) is seeking an outstanding Board Certified or Board Eligible Surgical Oncologist who wishes to contribute and practice medicine in a patient-focused environment surrounded by a collaborative team that drives speed to care, quality and outcomes. - 38 bed inpatient unit with ICU
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Foreign Equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience
- Board Certified in General Surgery
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Complex General Surgical Oncology or fellowship trained in Surgical Oncology
- Active Arizona Medical License
- Active DEA
- Demonstrated ability to function as a team player
- Collegial and helpful with internal colleagues, referring physicians, and others
- Articulate and engaging with patients, families, and other caregivers, using understandable language and compassion at all times
- Confident yet humble manner that earns respect from patients and colleagues
- Well versed in the state of cancer care, including the latest standards of care, research, and innovations
- Clinical responsibilities to include outpatient and some inpatient treatment with a focus on the care of patients with surgical malignancies
- Provide optimal treatment outcomes with compassionate, patient-centered care
