Respiratory Therapist I-Per Diem

Respiratory therapist assists in the treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders. Collects and analyzes sputum, blood and breathing specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases. Administers treatment prescribed by a physician for the care of patients with abnormalities associated with the process of breathing. Performs technical work in the application of respiratory therapy procedures and protocols. Interacts with physicians, nurses, and others to facilitate and promote optimal patient care.
