The City of Green is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional to plan and supervise a variety of recreation programs and activities.
The City of Green Civil Service Commission will conduct an examination for this full-time position Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Central Park Community Hall located at 1795 Steese Rd., Uniontown, OH. Application deadline is 4:00 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2024.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four (4) year college in recreation, education or related field. One (1) year leadership experience in organized recreation programs. A combination of education, training, certifications (such as Certified Pool Operator, Lifeguard, First Aid, etc.) and work experience indicating possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed may be considered in lieu of the bachelor’s degree. (In general, 1½ years of experience will be considered equivalent to each year of college education).
Must possess an Ohio driver’s license and remain insurable under the city’s vehicle insurance policy.
The City of Green is a Tobacco-Free Workplace. Applicants must be able to test negative for nicotine along with other drug and alcohol preplacement requirements.
