We are looking for a cat enthusiast who is interested in a career in the veterinary field. Although we would appreciate a person with previous experience, we are open to training the right person who is a fast learner, highly organized, detail oriented, and able to work quickly.

About the practice:

We are an independent feline practice. We are open 3 days a week and the shifts can be up to 12 hours long.

We rely heavily on the computers. Mac experience is appreciated but not mandatory.

This job involves:

• Calling clients
• Answering emails
• Entering client info and SOAP forms into the computer
• Scheduling appointments
• Light bookkeeping
• Drawing up vaccinations
• Restraining cats
• Filling medications and calling in prescriptions
• Drawing blood, depending on experience
• Showing owners how to give medications
• Inventory
• Cleaning and organizing
• And other various tasks

Please note:

Availability during open hours is important. This job may require occasional heaving lifting.
