Job Summary

Immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Technician.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of required laboratory tests on product and packaging materials, as well as incoming product as needed.
• Record data accurately and in a timely manner.
• Data entry using internal and external databases.
• Completion of paperwork required for record maintenance.
• Communicate with other departments as needed regarding status of materials and product.
• Assist department in other quality assurance duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology or related field required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to prioritize an assigned workload.
• Work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to work any shift, weekends and daily/weekly overtime hours as needed.
• Must be able to lift at least 45 pounds.
