Position Overview:
City Brew Operations Center is searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated Training Coordinator to serve as the face of training at our operations center. Under supervision of the Product Development and Merchandising Manager, this role plays a crucial part in maintaining organization and providing essential support to our field team, while also being the primary point of contact for Store Managers and District Managers. The ideal candidate should embody our core values, display a positive attitude, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Essential Functions:

Administrative Duties:
  • Create training plans and schedules for retail locations, management, Support office and more.
  • Introduce growth opportunities to emerging employees and provide necessary coaching and support information.
  • Communicate with field teams to identify training needs and development plans for store teams and individuals.
  • Responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating, and conducting training for field teams with Product Manager and Marketing team.
  • Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training materials on employee skills and KPIs.
  • Gather feedback from trainers and trainees regularly.
  • Maintain updated training curriculum and training records in City Brew University, or CBU, our intercompany communication portal.
  • Host Train the Trainer sessions for internal development.
  • Research, recommend, and implement new training methods and procedures in line with industry standards.
  • Recruit, train, and develop Certified Training Managers for each District in the company and evaluate performance.
  • Monthly reporting on certifications and training completion.
  • Work closely with others within CBU and other training systems for best reporting and practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience with various traditional and modern training methods, including on the job coaching and e-learning.
  • Experience with management training and soft skills development
  • Familiar with equipment, standard industry operating procedures and systems.
  • Proven ability to complete training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate).
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools and experience with e-learning platforms a plus.
  • MS Office proficiency.
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and time management skills.
Education/Training/Experience Requirements:
  • College degree or comparable education and experience in quick service restaurant(s) required. Coffee industry knowledge a plus but not mandatory.

Supervision:

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. This job is not remote and will include travel to both in-town and out of town markets.
