Working with Broomfield’s Camp Explorer is one of the most demanding and rewarding jobs you will ever have! We are searching for compassionate, strong, and fun folks to work at either of our high quality camp programs.
This position assists in overseeing the daily operations of the Camp Explorer program. All employees are directly responsible for overseeing the camp site and its staff, along with all aspects of the program which may include staff management, state license compliance, and curriculum development.
The 2024 Camp Explorer program runs May 29 - August 2 with training required May 20 - May 24. Weekly hours range from Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, and locations are Aspen Creek K-8 for K-5 and Broomfield Commons Park for Middle School programs. There may be opportunities to work throughout the year during school breaks.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess or obtain a valid American Red Cross Standard First Aid Certification and CPR within 21 days of hire and maintain for continued employment. Applicants must, as a condition of employment, pass the following pre-offer and post-offer/hire processes: oral board, reference checks, background checks including local police check, child abuse and sex-offender registry check, driving check through DMV.
