WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an individual that is detail oriented, has experience working in excel and technical point of sale systems. The ideal candidate should thrive working in a constantly changing environment and enjoy problem solving. The position should be familiar with and enjoy outdoor sports. Experience in the summer tourism industry will be a bonus. Creativity and business development ideas will be encouraged. Good customer service skill are critical.

TYPLICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is part of the Senior Administrative Team at Eaglecrest working closely with the Director of Snowsports, Rental, Retail and Repair, the Snow Safety Director, Marketing Director, the Director of Mountain Operations, and the General Manager. The position acts as the “Business Manager” managing all revenues, overseeing budgets, approves purchasing and contract awards, monitors spending and manages all Human Resources needs. Good customer service skills are essential, as this position will regularly be interacting with the public. The position will provide daily supervision of operational activities of two ski lodges (Fish Creek & Porcupine); supervising several distinct work units including ticketing/sales, food service, custodial services, employee transport, and the resident caretaker.

WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION

This is a salaried position that works Wednesday through Sunday 7:00am-4:30pm during the normal operating season of Eaglecrest Ski Area. The position also works all school holidays to match the Eaglecrest Operating Schedule. Overtime during holiday periods will be mandatory. During the summer season the position generally works Monday through Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.54 - $31.94 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
