Job Summary
Operates telephone switchboard and receive incoming calls. Uses overhead paging, two-way radios, and other communications equipment to relay messages and transfer information.
Acts as an information source for callers and drop-by visitors. Announces and relays information concerning fire alarms, disasters, code blue, and other emergencies.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. No specific diploma / degree required but must have acquired knowledge / skills to use correct grammar and spelling.
Computer experience preferred.
Minimum Experience Requirement
Previous switchboard experience and clerical experience desirable. Excellent customer service skills required. Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
Minimum License Requirement
Must be able to travel between campuses.
