The schedule for this full-time position is Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Drives and/or operates a county vehicle or equipment and must obey all safety policies, and roadway rules and laws.Maintains and troubleshoots hydraulic and electrical systems.Drives to and from locations of vehicles/equipment to be serviced. Picks up and delivers vehicles/equipment to be serviced and from vendors.Performs data entry into maintenance tracking system including, but not limited to, detailed notes for repairs and repair codes.Inspects new vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance.Interact with customers, employees, and vendors in a professional manner.Maintains a clean and organized work area.Uses welders and torches properly and safely for various applications.Reads and interprets documents, safety rules, County policy and procedures, operations/ maintenance manuals or instructions.Performs other duties as required.
