We are looking for a Director to join our Business Advisory Solutions Department in our New York City office. As a BAS Director, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service. NOTE: This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

• Detailed Reviewer of Tax Closings, Compilations, Closing of Books, Reviews, and tax preparation
• Developing budgets and pricing, select staff and assign workloads, and prepare reports
• Provide a sense of direction and purpose for staff members, while earning the trust of coworkers and client representatives
• Oversee, Supervise, and Manage Staff coordinating the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-up
• Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel
• Provide training, direction, and supervision to staff and senior accountants
• Assess performance of staff and provide appropriate feedback

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting
• CPA required
• Minimum of 10 years of experience gained within a public accounting firm required, including 4 years of managerial experience 
• Tax knowledge required, including experience with individual tax returns/1040
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to supervise staff at all levels
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently, but also work well with others
• Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Knowledge of Profx, Caseware, and XCM is a plus

For positions in New York City, the salary range is $150,000 -- $260,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
