Brd Certified Beh Analyst Plainview location 35hrs flex

Under the guidance of both the Senior Director and Director of Behavioral Health Services, provide clinical involvement and expertise for challenging cases. Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing supervision for RBT curriculum and staff training.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree and a BCBA or BCBA-D certification required.
• LBA preferred. 
• Must have at least three (3) years of experience working directly with individuals with DD, including the devising, implementing and monitoring of behavior support plans and/or providing supervision and training to others in the implementation of behavior support plans.

Physical Aspects may include but are not limited to lifting and transferring of an adult/child participant.

Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Develop curriculum for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), provide RBT training to staff, and provide ongoing group and individual supervision to maintain RBT credential.
• Supervise Behavior Intervention Specialists and other clinical staff for the BCBA certification requirements in group supervision and individual supervision formats.
• Provide clinical involvement and expertise in challenging cases.
• Develop BCBA curriculum for agency clinical staff.
• Attend team meetings, conduct staff trainings as necessary.
• Provide BIS supports to IRA’s and maintain condensed caseload of people supported.
• May perform other related duties as requested by supervisor.
• Ensure that work-related safety procedures are in place and are being adhered to by staff. Observance of an unsafe act or a potentially hazardous work environment must be immediately reported to supervisor and/or safety committee.

• Provide agency wide training at new hire trainings in Positive Behavior Supports and other areas determined by the Psychology and Training departments. Receive training for agency SCIP-R instructor and maintain certification on annual basis, (teach one three (3) day full SCIP-R course and two (2) recertification trainings per year).
• Personal Outcome Measures training required prior to conducting evaluations and assessments.
